From Traditional to Software-Defined: The Ashish Anand Approach
Ashish is a strong advocate for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). As a Technical Product Owner, he has played a pivotal role in driving Marriott’s transition from legacy infrastructure to automated, secure, and scalable networks using next-generation technologies such as SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, spine-leaf architectures, cloud routing/switching, and colocation builds.
He also manages the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and Nautobot for network asset management, while pioneering a custom-built Service Catalog using ReactJS and NodeJS, which has empowered 100+ engineers and streamlined the management of over 25,000 network devices.
